7-ip is a company that has spun of NICTA . NICTA is the largest ICT research and development organisation in Australia. It is a not for profit institute with the goal to advance ICT development in Australia. 7-ip's technology was developed in NICTA and a large part of 7-ip's staff are NICTA people. The founders of 7-ip, Roksana Boreli (CTO) and Frits Klok (CEO) have together more than 20 years experience in the satellite market.
